So much information on losing weight I'm not suprised that so many people come to me full of myths and mis understanding

By losing weight most people mean they want to get thinner and by that I mean lose body fat!

You can't get away from the fact, it took you years to gain the weight, so it will probably take you months to lose it. No quick fixes here!  well at least you should avoid the many very low calory diets and meal replacements, I'm sure they have there place but after all the solution is for you to learn how to eat properly. that means a change in habbits; which lets be fair will take some time if you are not to fall off the trip.

I will try and keep this simple.

Eat Breakfast, this will fuel you up for the day ahead, not eating breakfst is a one way trip to OBESITY fact!

Then eat several small offerings during the day, if you can eat a good lunch and have a lighter evening meal. next drink lots of water. Simple if you achieve these simple steps you will feel less tired and less tetchy during the afternoon and hey energised enough for a workout.

The next important fact to understand is this.

You have to work hard to increase your resting metabolism for long hours after you have finished your workout. This will burn many more fat calories than spending an hour on a slow cardio workout.

What is hard work. Ask your trainer!

I suggest that after a thorough warm up, start interval training of hard walking , jogging, cycling or swimming with efforts of 1 minute duration. Then learn how to do weights properly and I don't mean light weights.

A good weight workout will drive your metabolism through the roof and burn off fat all day or night with amazing results.
