Wow! the day after the Flora London Marathon

Yesterday I spent 5 hours massaging tired limbs and sore backs of several charity runners entered with the charity whizz-kidz. What a day it started quiet as usual while we set up and prepared ouselves for the onslaught, so around 1pm the faster runners came through; these were the luck ones as they didn't have to stand around waiting for a couch to lie on. But, by 2.30 the trickle became a full on hit as 130 plus runners descened upon us all anctious tired wet souls wanting some comforting, soothing and quiet reflection time to themselves, whilst they were sympathetically treated by seven keen sports therapists, who probably really wished they were brave enough to have entered the London Marathon as runners. So around 7pm we had it all wrapped up and dispatched our souls with some relief and plenty of advice about recovering, Us, well my arms and shoulders need a rest and little recovery, see them all again next year. Well Done.
